Hi i am new to these forums so please bear with me.
I'm a 25 year old mum. Since the 23rd November i started with right sided pain in my chest and in my lower abdomen. When i 1st went drs i was shaking and my pulse was 145bpm and was told its a viral infection. After going back weekly my own Dr suspects it may be gallstones and has asked ultrasound department to ring me.
Recently though Ive been getting headaches everyday, mostly over my right eye and its like stabbing pain mixed with throbbing. My chest has started to hurt a lot more, i get feeling like i cant breathe properly at times but i am not sure if this is the tramadol i have been given causing it. I'm literally only eating tomato soup and toast and drinking orange cordial as i can only stomach them. I have not been sick but i am extremely nauseous. I sleep alot of the day as i find it hard to keep awake but at the same time i wake up when the pain starts. The pain is always under my right ribcage and sternum area.
I also noticed i have started with what looks like a load of tiny ingrown hairs sort of rash on my arm and back but my husband says im just worrying too much? Should i be going back to my drs again? Im still in pain but im unsure my drs can do anything else. I dont want to go A&E and be told to go home as soon as i get there cause its 10 mile journey.
Can anyone advise please? Thank you.
Sorry i also forgot to mention the pain radiates into my back all the time. MY brains fuzzled so i forgot to add that, sorry.
Hi Kitty
Sorry to hear of your problems.
Sounds like the headache and brain fog is from the meds you are taking.
the pain could be form gallstones , before you go to the doctors again, try removing as much fat from your diet as possible, if the pain subsides then it could indicate gallstones. Make sure your doctor is aware of your daily routine re sleeping etc.
Hope you feel better soon

Hi Kitty, I also get the pain over the eye, my doc has been treating me for migraine for the past 7 years.
But on checking http://gallbladderattack.com/gallbladdersymptoms.shtml the pain over the eyes is a classic symptom & one that's not really recognised. Hope this helps, Linz
I have no fat in my diet what so ever at the moment. I did notice that after eating an egg once my upper chest area really hurt which it never used to (I used to love egg mayo butties ). As for the brain fog I also forgot to mention I have fibromyalgia which is controlled by acupuncture weekly which is why im forgetful. But the headaches started before I took the tramadol.
My husband asked at the dra for me today and they said there isnt much more that they can do for me bar give me more painkillers. And that if my chest pain gets worse/I turn yellow/ or pasa out to go to A & E immediately as they said I could possibly get parnceritus if left untreated. Ive just got ky date for ultrasound scan, not till 21st which makes it a 6 week waitbin total, not the 2 weeks my dr said.
Hi KittyKylie
Have you had your scan yet?If so what were results.
Hi kitty
A teaspoon of Apple cider vinegar in a glass of apple juice, not from concentrate, Lidl do non-concentrate apple juice , will help quell the pain and is good for your GB.
hope that helps .
