Does anyone else sweat at night, mainly upper chest area?

Yes, I had this problem until recently. I gave LPR and am diet controlled type 2 diabetic also. I put it down to the menopause but since I no longer eat anything after 5pm until the next morning, and only drink mostly water or flat zero coke in the evening and through the night I no longer have that problem. I never got to the reason for the sweating (only in chest area) but no longer suffer!
Yup, I had it too the other day while sleeping. I also had some sort of burning pain in my stomach. It was due to an acid rebound effect when I cheated on my diet.
