swelling behind my two knees

For the last couple of weeks i have had swollen lumps on back of my knees and for the last couple ofmonths ive a limp i find itpainful to bend my knees sad

No operation just suddenly appeared and i limp when i walk

I found that the muscles in my hip area, thigh, and calf were in knots. Some muscles felt like small baseballs when massaged. It takes nearly continuous massaging to keep them from causing great pain. Could this be some of your problem?

p.s it could be a bakers cyst !!

Im not sure going to docs tomoz hopefully to find out being pain everyday is getting me down i will ask him thank ypu

Hi, there have been a few discussions re lumps and Baker's cysts on these forums recently. I've replied to a few of them, so I suggest you look up Baker's cysts (always caused by arthritis) on the right hand side of this page under "Related Information". At least that will give you an idea of what they're like. But your doc will hopefully know what the problem is and how to help you.
