Swelling of feet and ankles

I am 52 peri menopausal and have been having hip and calf pain for almost a year..  Also around my period both of my feet and ankles swell.. anyone else have this problem please

sure i been going through it for awhile.

I haven’t had a period in almost a year but for about 5 years i have had a problem with my lower left leg and foot swelling especially when it’s hot out. I have no pain but the swelling worries me and it’s embarrassing i will not even wear short pants in the summer. I’m gonna mention it to my doctor again when i go for my labs this month. I have read where it’s common for women to swell during or before period. Hope it gets better.

I just saw this!!! Sorry your going through that!! The swelling is awful!!! Did you get any results from your doctor?

I haven’t been yet. I suppose to go back this month. It’s only my left leg and ankle. It’s been a little better but never stays completely away. 🙂😢

It’s my right ankle and foot that swells.. also my blood pressure had been running high.. started a new medication

Does it swell often??

Sorry again just saw your reply. No it’s intemttent. Usually close to my period. Hope you are doing better
