a while ago a small patch developed on the underside of my glans - didnt think anything of it, my glans has always been super sensitive to direct touch and this wasnt causing any additional discomfort.
Not sure if this is related - but recently my foreskin has become quite tight and painful to retract. and it appears swollen in the area that would normally cover the patch.
could this be an STD? ive done a home test for syphyllis (a recent partner tested positive) and am waiting for the result. or is this just an infection? when the patch first appeared i washed very frequently with soap and warm water but that didnt help - and ive read that that may make it worse.
It looks like you have a infection or balanitis shower gels and soap can cause irritation so just warm water and maybe a emollient wash. You should see your doctor for a proper diagnosis the white patches could be a fungal infection yeast? Or lichen sclerosus it needs to be checked out
