swelling

I’m really freaked out right now, I knew this would happen. Ive been worried on and off about my heart for a few weeks now, and I said I have all the symptoms EXCEPT swelling. And now my legs and one arm is swelled up. I’m so so scared and I don’t want to see a doctor because I don’t want to be told I’m dying😭 I had three EKGS and two echos in February, blood work in July, and a chest X-ray in February also. All came back normal. Should I be fine? Could this be withdrawal from remeron? I’m so worried I don’t knkw what to do😭😭

Are they swollen bad?

Shelby- if ALL of those tests came back normal you should NOT be worried.  Your anxiety is kicking in full force right now.  It’s awful isn’t it?  The swelling is most likely something NON fatal.  Get an appointment with your doc & please calm down.  Our anxiety alone can make us unwell. Make an appt & let us know.  Please try & calm yourself & remember that all of those tests came back normal!

How long have you been off Remeron?   I hate these drugs. They give us so many unwanted side effects.

No, I might even be imagining it

Threee months, I started tapering last week. I’m on my last Dayan of tapering off then I’m going to start Prozac. So you think even though the tests were MONTHS ago I should still be fine, I shouldn’t worry? I know you’re not a doctor but, I need some reassurance haha

No you should not worry to the point that you’re afraid to make a dr appt.!    You’re still tapering from Remeron & I’m sure it’s something related to the drug. For peace of mind make an appt. is it still swollen?

I have had major heart pounding & was convinced there was something wrong with my heart. Wore a 24 hr heart monitor & it came out fine!   It’s the anxiety.

Just curious- why are you getting of Remeron?   I was on Prozac for 13 years & it was the best drug for me.

remeron didn’t help with the anxiety at all. Worked wonders for the depression though! My psychiatrist said Prozac should help with the obsessive thoughts, my fingers are crossed haha

My fingers are crossed for you too!!  It DID help me a ton with my obsessive thoughts.
