I've been on 40 mg Citalopram for 6 years and it seems to work fine it's just that Im tired all the time but my mood is good . I went to the doctor to see if maybe a different antidepressant would help with my tiredness so he prescribed me sertaline which ge told me to take right aways ... I've now taken for 2 weeks and my mood is gone downhill big time .... has anyone switch back to a previous antidepressant right aways? or do I have to wait?I'm on a 50 mg of Sertraline

The old saying comes to mind if it is not broke do not fix it. One way may have been a reduction in dose of Citalopram you are used to this medication and you are feeling more at peace.
Changing medications as we feel we are more relaxed can be a possible bad mood, to be honest you follow your Doctors prescriptions
Both drugs are quite similar I gather, a reduction in dose may have been all you need although as mentioned many times you follow your treatment plan and see how you go. The new medication should not cause any problems you are just switching.
No-one can advise that has been done for you, follow your GPs plan

im on citrapram 40 mg and im tired all the time,i get up in the morning andwant to go to sleep again,they have helpped me alot but still mornings arnt to great,think you should stick with what you know personaly
