Switching from fluxotine capsules to pills and dropping dose.

Ok so I have been taking fluxotine for about 4 months and went up 10 mg every month got up to 40 and just started feeling awful after 2 weeks. Heat sensitivy,can't sleep,can't eat,can focus or function you know how it goes.

So my doctor said maybe 40 was too high and I should go back to 30....so that's what I'm going to do but I got the prescription today and they are pills instead of capsules?

Has anybody had to lower they're dose or switch from capules to pills?

Anytime you do any changes with SSRI's with tapering, I would not taper anymore than 3-5% every 2-4 weeks at least to minimize withdrawals.

Yes, , and no issues occurred. Shouldn't be a problem.
