Switching from Generic Sertraline to Lustral (Zoloft)

Hi everyone,

For the past five years I have been taking Sertraline 100mg for OCD. It has been working fine for me and I have been symptom free.

My pharmacist normally gives me the Millpharm Generic version of Sertraline, but he recently gave me Lustral (Zoloft) 100mg.

I have been taking Lustral for the past two weeks and although I don’t have any OCD symptoms, I am definitely feeling more anxious.

I have raised this to my GP but he has advised continue taking Lustral.

Has anyone experienced any effects going from a generic SSRI to a brand SSRI?

Hi..How are you getting on with Lustral?..Im goiung to have to ask my gp to change me from Teva and looking at lustral..Its expensive and is supposed to be the best
