So I was on zoloft 50mg for a couple months and wanted to switch as I gained 30 pounds and it made my depression worse...almost a month ago I switch to 5mg of lexapro...I been having rough days with violent intrusive thoughts and anxiety is pretty bad also...could this be the dose is to low? I feel like I am scared to be alone again like before I ever got on meds.
I used to take meds for my anxiety but it didn't work it just made things worse.
I was on Lexapro, 20mg
I also had violent intrusive thoughts. Im now on Valdoxan and that stopped.
Maybe, try a new antidepressant ?
It's hard to say. 5mg is a baby does. I would suggest talking to your doctor.
combining treatment by medicines with alternative holistic treatment(like exercise, meditation, yoga, addition of some fruits to diet) should help..
