I have had swollen glands for weeks and constant ear popping. Is this something related to RA?
Never had this with my RA. Sounds more like a virus or infection.did you mention it to gp when you went about joint pain?
It started after my GP referral but I have an appointment at 4 today so hopefully this might shed some more light on it!
Hi Michelle1901 Could you keep us posted on how it goes as I suffer with ear popping and I was diagnosed with Psoriatic arthritis last year, Thanks
Yes Matthew I will
Hello
I haven't had RA diagnosed yet (three doctors unsure so waiting to be referred on) but I do have TMJ problems that affect my hearing and what feels like the air in my ears, sort of popping and feeling like I am on a plane. This isn't unusual for me necessarily but it has worsened since my RA type symptoms have come about, to the extent I have been back to my TMJ specialist. This could be because my jaw muscles and joints are affected or something else entirely. I have had this air in my ears for years I should ask and coincidentally it started after a bout of glandular fever . I noticed a decongestant gave some initial respite but it didn't last long. Symptoms have worsened lately alongside other issues with joints and muscles. Appreciate this might not be very helpful but saw some similarities. Best of luck
