You are all amazing people, thank you thank you for taking the time to help me and others.

So the swelling has gone down 40 percent I would say. I should also say that this swelling has not appeared until yesterday, and its completely separate from the normal swelling.

I am leaning towards , yes i over did it yesterday. Im 12 days post opp and just felt so good yesterday, started walking with out any help of aids . I know not smart.

But no pain at all around wound site and no redness etc.

Im really hoping it keeps going down. Not sure if today I should go about my busness, or just stay off it all together ? I will send a pic, not sure you can see it all that great with the pic but hey its something.

Very excited for Tuesday, to get staples out and keep progressing ( SLOWLY)

You are doing great!! Im almost 3 weeks post op and jyst now can walk unassisted for a few feet around house, still with a limp but no pain. You're way ahead of most don't over do it though!!!

Hey rick! Im 6 weeks post op and have swelling at op site still. ESPECIALLY when I get cocky and over do things.

You are doing great. Continue to ICE your hip and elevate (lay in bed) when possible.

Even when the clips are out you will still, some days, have pain, stinging swelling, hardness. It will go through various stages. Some days you will not feel anything and think oh, that is better, then it will come back. Do not worry, I feel it after exercises and walking, not everyday but it let's you know 'hello I am still here'. Take care, take it easy and remember to rest.
