Hi. I had a toupet fundoplication about a year ago and had a nerve trapped in my scar tissue. This has lead to me having chronic upper pain pain and neck pain on the left side and whenever i eat i instantly get pain between my shoulder and my neck. I have had various nerve blocks and now they believe i have issues with my sympathetic nervous system. However they are struggling to fix the issue and each procedure seems to make things worse. I wonder if anyone else has experienced such symptoms. It is totally debilitating and i feel i am unable to do simple daily tasks and struggle with many things. I need to find a solution so any experiences would be appreciated. They are now referring me to a spinal cord specialist but i have been warned this may not be fixable. I just can not accept this, hence my post on here.
hi rach have you tryed when your sitting down puting a towel in the ridge of your neck to see if it alters the pain or nerve symptoms in any way .? it's just a thought as i have had good results from doing a simple thing like that. . and wish you well .
