Hi everyone. Not long ago, I watched something happen to my grandma that was quite scary to me: it was because of her medication, she suddenly started jerking and it made her fall. It scared me to death. The next day, I had, what I assume, was vertigo. I felt like I was 'floating'. It got worse when I went on an elevator, but within a week, it was gone and I felt normal again. However, about a month later, it returned, but once again it lasted for a week. The following month, the same thing. Each month, it has become less and less severe, and only lasts for a week. It never got to the point that I fell or anything. But now whenever I have it, I have a pressure in the top of my head in just one spot, but I can only feel it when I raise my eyebrows. When I wake up in the morning, I feel fine, and then a couple hours later it will be there. I have never had a problem with my vision during this. Could this be my anxiety? Whenever I get nervous, like having to stand in a group, or even being in a store, it gets worse until I'm calm or back in the car. Also, when I mess with my right ear, I'll get dizzy for just a second. I just want this to go away and feel normal again. I'm only 17 and I have never had any health issues, and these symptoms are pretty scary to me, and I think the worst possible things could be wrong with me. Thank you.
It sounds like anxiety but it may be worth seeing your doctor to check out your ears in case you have an infection which could be another reason for your giddiness and balance issues.
Thank you for your reply.
