Has anybody had a blocked artery in their neck? What we”er your symptoms? Or what are the most common ones?

We have a friend who has just had 2 stents in the neck due to narrowing of the artery.
She noticed that she couldn't find a pulse in her left arm. No pain or discomfort, head aches or anything else.
After going to see the doctor she was referred to a consultant who diognosed it straight the way.
she's fine now and 3 weeks after surgery has flown to Turkey for a 2 week holiday.
