Hello.
I first began to develop symptoms of IBS about a month after my baby grandson was still born.
The sheer shock and pain off loss and concerns for my daughter seem to now have manifest themselves in a real physical form with this ibs.
Bloated rock hard stomach, making me look huge, very poor apetite, and feeling really full only on a few mouthfuls. :?:
My tummy hurts all over with general discomfort, ranging from the top of it under ribs to sometimes crippling pains low down doubling me over unable to stand up straight.
This was relieved by going to the loo.

You should visit your GP as soon as possible and get this IBS confirmed by a professional, infact ask for a gastroscopy
Thank you Dr.Spock, I have already been to my gp and told her my symptoms. I'm already being refered to a consultant for a different matter due to a cyst that has to be removed surgically.
The pains are not due to the cyst but something else, possibly ibs, but as you say it needs to be diagnosed properly to rule out anything more serious. :?
I have all the symptoms of ibs but not had it long enough for them to diagnose yet.
The symptoms are consistant with ibs.
I will visit my gp again and have notes written on what my experience is which will help biuld a bigger pic.
I'll post on here once I know anything.
Oh and by the way I used to be a huge fan of the old star trek! It's Mr Spock ( lol) Dr in star trek was Dr Mc Coy!
Do you like star trek or did you just pick that image?
Thanks anyway for your concern. 8)

To be honest my name is just some random b*ll*cks
Your abdomen and symptoms sound very much like mine but I havent got IBS, currently my abdomen is bloated with whats called Duodenitis (inflammation of the Duodenum), according to my GP it can effect the whole tummy (from Duodenum to Bottom) but I dunno / I beg to differ :D But anyway Id be interested to hear how things turn out for you
