Hello everybody. I had a sexual contact three weeks ago and just yesterday I noticed a small red spotish-like thing on my genitals. Can you tell me if it is a syphilis chancre that indicates primary syphilis? Or is it something else?
It doesn't look like a chancre to me, but I'd get it checked out if I were you. You could either see your GP, or if you're in the UK, you could go to a genitourinary medicine (GUM) clinic - google "GUM clinic near me" for details.

I went to the doctor and he said it's a balanitis from clothes probably and I shouldn't do anything it will just go away on its own. What a relief!
