I've just collected my prescription for overactive thyroid - 30mg carbimazole and 40g propranalol. Question is can I take them both together, at the same time, or leave some space between?

I was on Carbimazole plus Propanolol 40 mgs. twice daily for 18 months and used to take them together and had no problem. Most people diagnosed with overactive thyroid are prescribed these two medications and get on well with them. All the best, hope you feel better soon.

Hi Bess, thank you for a straight forward reply. I am also on these for 18 months which was a bit of a shock yesterday, but I feel more positive today. The weight loss symptom is the only legacy I would like from this!!

Hi liz been on the carbimazole and propranolol for three weeks. Now I split my tabs into three doses still got puffy under eyes and tingling in my hands slight sickness and feel tired a lot please tell me it gets better
