So I found out 2 month ago I have hsv2 first breakout was the worst very painful, the dr told me anytime I start to get the burning sensation to take the medication. So I have figured it’s been about every 2 weeks since I found out. And now I been taking my pills for 10 days and the burning hasn’t gone away I don’t have any lesion on labia yet thank goodness. However I contacted dr. She told me to come in. But I don’t have medical so it will cost me 150 just to see her. Could the antiviral stop working for me? Anyone else having this problem or ever had this problem.
I think when you first are diagnosed your body takes a while to adjust and seems to be more irritated and sensitive. I know with me that happened. I had one outbreak, and then the next 3 or so months after I seemed to be more sensitive down there. Now it’s been 7 months and I don’t typically have any issues. I would give it a little time! Especially since you’re not actually having anymore sores. It does get better!!
