So i finally went to the psychiatrist and discribed her what i was going through. She prescribed me a zoloft and olepra ( anti psychotic drug). Its my first time ever on any mental health related drugs. What should i expect?
Hi, I am feeling the same way, I.m feeling a little numb it scaring me big time. It's like I have no emotions and it's my second day doing this. My mother is telling me to give it time, i don't want to eat either, very weird for me. I wish you luck!!!
Hang in there! It will more than likely get worse before it gets better, but don’t give up. The side effects are horrid. Don’t increase your dose for at least 6-8 weeks because that’s how long it takes for your current dose to level off. I as well as others have made the mistake of increasing too soon and it can set you back and be very discouraging! Just remember, YOU WILL GET BETTER. I have to keep telling myself that everyday. You’ll have good and bad days and wonder why you felt so good one day and then terrible the next. It’s part of the process until everything levels out. Hang in there! It’ll be worth it!
