Taking so long to get stable - Dosulepin

Hi there, I really need some encouragement, Im entering my 12th week on Dosulepin, I had a great 18 days in a row on 150mg then got my period and went down hill again I have PMDD aswell as GAD, my doc increased Dod 175mg hoping it will help for next month but Im still feeling flat - one week on 175mg. Can anyone explain why its taking so long? my anxiety is telling me I will never be stable, TIA

im on zoloft and the same thing happened. it takes time but i promise it sill! Also, i went on the pill and my gyno told me to
skip my periods all together and it helped!

I think we all go through that, ups and downs. I take celexa and I went through it for 6 months. But as you said you had a great 18 days so that is good, it means your on your way to feeling better.
I think us as woman its common for us to get this around the time of month, I just tell myself ‘yep its that time of month again’ and be patient with myself around that time of month because it does get better after its over.

thanks Kim i tried the pill and it gave me anxiety , just desperate to feel well again its been a tough few months

thanks grounded, last month i had a bad day just before my period and its continued on even though i have finished, I Suppose its just taking the 175mg time to kick in only a week and 5 weeks before on the 150mg. Im just so frustrated and want some more good days soon. Thanks for your encouragement, I appreciate it, Im a positive and social person so feeling like this worries me
