anyone out there tapering off sertraline after 6 months

Hey no I have not tapered off sert. But I did 6 months on citalopram and tapered off. It was hard to start. But gets easyer :).. did you switch to the mitezipne??

Things are going well I can say. A bit light headed and a weight in my chest. Nothing major thought

my gp told me to take half of the setraline to 50 mg for two weeks then stop and start prozac 20mg

they have given me prozac to start in two weeks after tapering down from stertraline from 100 to 50 starting tomo

prozac worked way better for me!!! im just curious if anyone else has No sex drive on these drugs. i have been on them for years and I HAVE NO SEX DRIVE and its depressing

yes, but as I’m literally half asleep I’ll give you a decent reply tomorrow. I went cold turkey. do. not. do. that. holy hell the come down was a nightmare. it worked, but it was extremely rough, so not recommended. make a plan with the doc about how to taper down. it’ll take a while I expect. just for f$%@ sake do NOT do what I did! bloody hell that was a bumpy ride. first call is always the doctors, not us lot. no offence to anyone, but we’re not medical professionals, so consult with the doc each week to keep track of your progress

Ah well, so much for sleep, thought sod it, I may as well give my full thought while I can still remember it. (diazepam messes with my memory)

ps doc gave me diazapam but scared to take it as every morning i am getting bad panic its horrible

im tappering from 100mg to 75mg, due to 100mg too high.. been on them for 9 months, dont be scared thats just a negative thought taking over, just take each day has it comes… yes always tapper slowly..hope this helps xx

Hi, im tapering too. i did 4 weeks from 100-75 and did my first day going down to 50 yesterday. I’ll stick at 50 for a couple of months then rewiew what i want to do from there x
