I noted this tear in the skin around my anus and am wondering whether it is just a break in the skin due to trauma or if it could be genital herpes. I haven’t experienced any significant pain or itching, although there is some very minor pain only if I touch it directly.

I am waiting for another sore to appear to have a culture done within the first two days of discovery.
Any more than 2 days after outbreak will result in inaccurate results.
I have had 2/3 doctors say its not herpes. They can not diagnose visually. Get the culture or blood test done.
