I had 3 teeth including a wisdom tooth in my lower right side of my mouth. was sedated during this time. it’s been one week now and the pain is horrific. saw dentist 4 days after and he said it was looking good. my jaw is still swollen also. has anyone else experienced this and what can I do to stop pain was prescribed tramodole for pain which does nothing and an antibiotic. this was making me sick after 2 days so they said to stop taking it that I didn’t need antibiotic anymore. please I need help. can’t eat or drink without severe pain
Sorry to say I had the same thing…the severe pain lasted around 3 weeks! Rocking and crying painful. Went to doctors twice and dentist twice. Had 3 weeks off work. Plus lots of Dr Google in desperation!
The only thing that helped me was getting prescription painkillers, the second type I tried, ‘Tramadol’ took the edge off enough for me to function like a human. Eventually weened off these with paracetamol and ibuprofen and now over 6 weeks later I just have the occasion bout of pain and am trying to work on opening my mouth wider.
Definitely suggest going to your doctor.
went back to the dentist today said everything looked good. I’m just a slow healer. I’m going to visit my sister I Florida in a weak. I pray its better by then
