Hi
For 10 years now I’ve had issues with the following:
Tiredness
Bloating
Heartburn and terrible reflux which has got much worse recently
Abdo pain
Feeling hot, dizzy achy and sweaty approx 2-3 hours after eating a meal
My GP thinks I have CFS but I think it’s a digestive issue and I’ve become to realise this more recently.
Ultrasound ruled out gallstones and liver disease but said they couldn’t view my pancreas due to very gassy stomach.
Celiac and Inflammatory bowel disease ruled out.
I do have IBS.
I also get periods of very low blood sugar where I shake terribly and sweat heavily, and have to eat more sugar to feel better. But these episodes are different to the other ones.
Any ideas?
Hi joanna01874
Have you been tested for type 2 diabetes...you seem to get a sugar crash after you eat and get low blood sugar hypoglycemia....this causes tiredness and sweats.....ask your doc to be tested for Type 2 diabetes...this can also affect your adrenals which will cause tiredness aswell get adrenals tested for adrenal fatigue too....best wishes.....
Pancreas should be checked. It's bad being sick.
ME/CFS and IBS can go together. ME/CFS can also cause digestive problems so you could be having a mixture of these conditions. It may also be an idea to have your thyroid checked. My mum was misdiagnosed with CFS for years while her underactive thyroid remained under treated
When I had an ultrasound, I was told certain organs could not be seen because my bowel was in the way and was full of gas..
