I have been feeling fairly well the last few weeks using Clobetasol and Lidocaine 2%jelly. However, yesterday out of no where, my vulva is burning and very sore. My GYN believes I have a pudendal nerve problem causing this pain . She wants to give me a trigger shot to try and calm the nerve and relieve the pain. My insurance company has to approve the shot. I am waiting several weeks for approval. I am using a peri bottle filled with water and baking soda after urination. I cannot take anti-inflammatory meds since I am taking a blood thinner for afib in the heart. I am thinking about taking Benadryl tonight hoping it will help. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.
