ive been living in fear for almost a year and get a random rash. blood test always negative IGG but always positive igm. i was having a shower this morning and scratch myself after a crazy itch! and now look at this! this is definitely herpes isnt it?! 
I would legit go to urgent care and get a swab ASAP. read your posts and that is so confusing!
going in a hour to get a swab! but i think those pictures speak for themselves. im in panic atm - cant calm down 
Idk, its pretty sketch that your blood results are negative. when is the last blood result you have after exposure? I feel like it wouldve shown in your blood already. what does it look like now? just try to chill Im sure so many people have stuff like this happen, idk how there is still stigma around this. its so silly and not in the control of anyone. like ORAL sex can cause it..and the people who carry it in their mouth n pass it to peoples genitals are just chillin. twisted world we live in.
you responding is calming me down! The last blood test was 7 months post exposure - ive done a total of 6 test between 2 & 7 months. im doing another one today with the swab - will be 11 months. The sore has calmed down a bit since after scratching 2.5 hours ago but is still itches. note i had NOTHING before i went into the shower - i scratched myself for 30 seconds in shower and got out looking like that. now it doesnt look as bad, red or wet as when i posted the pictures - look like its healing.

symotoms 4 days after exposure, ested 6 times, always IGM positive and IGG negative… last one 11 months after exposure = total mindfuck and confusion…
Ive been trying to forget it but all kind of symptoms (painful rashes but without clear ulcers, neurological symptoms) remind me of it

What did urgent care say?
doctor said she is positive its not herpes however still took the swab for my peace of mind - there was no blister and she said you would be in pain. She is 100% confident swab will come back negative - will find out next week
Update: my blood test result came in which is 11 months and 3 days post exposure. Negative IGG for both HSV 1 & 2. The rash is entirely gone when i woke up this morning - as if it wasnt there at all.

thats awesome. I think if you get a negative swab you will for sure be in the clear. there could be many reasons besides herpes that skin can become irritated.

update in case anyone has the same thing - my swab came back negative for herpes 
both my bloods and swab have come back negative. i am 11 months post exposure. i have a dermatologist who believes i have an ongoing yeast infection (forgot the name). hope you get closure on your issue - goodluck!
so the IGMs were a false positive, right?
It seems that herpes has been eliminated have you asked your doctor about a staph infection?
