As of 6 weeks now, the second test came back negatives. No symptoms have appear since (Like I mentioned before, had burning sensation the next day after receiving oral sex), no lesions or bumps. I took the igg blood test. The index for hsv 1 was .12 and hsv 2 .14. So my question is, if you get a negative result, should it be a zero (if you guys ever had a zero)? And if there is numbers, should I be worry? I know that after 4-6 months that when it’s more accurate, but seeing the numbers rise every mouth could be scary.
if its less than 1.1 its negative if its greater than 3.5 its a high chance for a positive. If its less than 3.5 but greater than 1.1 get retested. Before i had it it always showed <0.91 so youre good. IDK how to add the links on here but “Iwanttoknow.org” talks about it.
then again this is from someone’s test results and this is how their doctor go by so maybe its over 1.09 thats positive instead of 3.5 idk different sites and tests says different things but i do know your numbers are not high so you are okay.
