I have only had unprotected sex with the same man for 7 yrs my ex before him had herpes but was honest and told me when I was pregnant. I immediately made him go get meds and only had protected sex with him when he had no outbreak and got tested ever since and nithing showed in my blood I've never had an outbreak that was 12 yrs ago. every std test has been negative and my current partner is trying to say it could have lay dormant in my blood all this time until now just 7 months ago my blood test was negative I know this man is lying and he's a cheater somebody tell me im right please
You’re right. Herpes “laying dormant” simply means you won’t have an outbreak it doesn’t mean it wouldn’t show up in your blood. Within 3 month of getting exposed to the virus, antibodies would show up in your blood
