Hi Madia

So so pleased you are feeling more positive. I have seen your posts encouraging others on here. It's a journey and a roller coaster recovery and different for everyone.

The site is great for reassurance and encouragement. The recovery takes a long time. So well done you my friend. Keep up the healing.

Love and hugs xxx

It's a difficult joirney the surgery takes so much energy and consent ration to cope.

its exhausting but every day you will continue to feel better and make progress by leaps and bounds.

eat well eat good foods for recovery, mmy doc said it takes more calories for the body to heal after major surgery at least 2200 per day.

Good od to hear you feeling better!

My doctor not only said the same thing, she said that for eight weeks all food was calorie free! In other words, if it takes cream  buns and chocolate, then that's absolutely fine. Het take was that you need two things. Energy (food) and sleep. Energy is needed to heal, and you apparently heal twice as fast asleep because your body isn't using Romney on other things so it concentrates on the healing.

Sorry about the lousy words - the predictive keyboard struck again! Romney should read energy!

Madla,

You are a wonderful person, just stick with this forum, the friends you make here all know exactly what you are going though.

Best wishes

Graham

hi madla,

you are such a wonderful and courageous person ---

in this short time you have come from asking for help to an encouraging member here on the forum -  well done !!!

this forum and all the members are so great - nobody will be able to understand what we are going through -

we are in all stages of recovery from this major invasive surgery - some here still are trying to decide to get hip surgery, others are about to get one, or just are in first days post-op ... not only that, but we are also coming from all over the world ...

sending you light and love and healing
