been to see my g.p this week, he dosen't want me to go up to 60mg of cit. he said that 40mg should have worked, so he has given me sertraline instead. so i've got to come off one and start the other. although i won't be taking cit i will keep coming back to this site. it is a brilliant site for many reasons. the fact that you can find support from others in the same situation and can swap advice and experiences.

Hi madmouse, 40 cit did not work for me either; disappointed & bemused as over the years a lower dosage really did the trick. Am now on 75mg of ven; I do hope sert works for you - who knows I might need it eventually. A speedy return to good health for all on this useful site. Please keep me updated on your progress. I do use a light box, last year it did seem to help. This year it has not done much good. We have had two days of good sunshine and I have been out and about. my mood has improved. hopefully spring is on the way and i will return to normal. or as normal as i can get.
