Thank you 😁

I just want to thank everyone in this group. I have gotten so much out of it. Suggestions to much needed info. I have started to walk a little bit with the boot on as instructed by my orthopedic surgeon. There were lots of other foot friends who said to wear a thick soled shoe on my good foot for lees stress on that hip and knee 😊 excellent suggestion, i can feel the difference and i feel better about walking now. I've said it before and i'll say it again!! Amazing ppl in this group and thank you all again.

I'm also glad that we have this page to share with each other experiences and get advices. What we had was very traumatic from day one of accident. Everyone is wishing it would be 3 months already onwards to see the full recovery as most surgeons say.

May i know whrn you started using boot?

Hi Teena, I got put in the boot December 20, 2 weeks after my fusion. I had also gotten my stitches removed that day as well and everything was looking good and healing right on track. In 5 weeks I go for an MRI or ct scan to see if the fusion has worked.

Hi, my name is Mary, and I recently put my first post on here the day right before my surgery. Because it's my very first surgery in life at the age of 38, I asked for any advice/info. and suggestions and answers and encouragement came pouring in. I am so glad I made a post to this site. Everyone has been and are such a blessing on here. I agree that this site is amazing. I hope you continue to feel better, and heal quickly. Blessings, Mary :-)
