I am a little over two months post op on my tkr revision and while there's some stiffness and mild pain, I feel pretty good about my recovery process. I had to have the revision 6 months after my Tkr surgery which was a nightmare and it will take an act of congress to get me to do my other knee. Thank each and everyone on this forum for your support and encouraging posts. You just don't know how much I appreciated the late night posts when I couldn't sleep. Keep on posting!!!!
That's so good to hear another person feeling good about recovery! I hope if you need the other knee doing you'll get it done rather than go on for years disabled, like I did with both of them! I agree this group is an absolute necessity!!!! There are so many voids in information as to what can happen after a TKR and what's 'normal' (everything????) so it's a huge help!
HI, Im really glad to hear that youre doing so well with your Revision, it hives me hope - my own Revision was on Feb 24th of this year, and Im still really struggling.....my ROM is really pretty good, my PT's are happy enough, but the pain.....oh, the pain.....it seems as though it will never end.....but I spoke to my Surgeon and he said it was exactly as he would expect at this stage, so I guess its just a case of suck it up, and it'll get better with time....so its great to hear that youre well on the way.
