Now I might have posted this already as tablet plying up a wee bit. I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone on this forum while I have the chance. You have helped me with preparation before hand and supported me in the hours before op and in the bad days after op. Day 2 I thought I should just have gone in to a wheelchair but it is like having a baby hard work to start but the rewards are with it. I see myself on my favourite grassy patch in Tenerife before too long.As Renee would say love and warm hugs to all of you and I will add angel blessings. As swarzenigger says I'll be back.xxx

That's the blessing of this forum you start of thinking youre doing this for yourself but in actual fact we all help each other, I have the same sentiments as you as I'm very grateful for the responses I

I had to laugh at your remark about rather being in a wheelchair on day 2, because I remember thinking that I'd rather have my old hip back! But 6 weeks on - no way!!

You'll soon be on that patch of grass!

I think we will all be back!!!

we all know it will be worth it in the end, it's just that along the way it sometimes gets a bit rocky and that's where we all come in.

I feel sorry for the people who have never found  a site like this, as it is a life saver. I have spent so many of my loney hours on here.  I would feel a little lost without everyone now. 

So keep thinking Tenerife, won't be long! 

I don't feel very energic, so I think it's exercise, walk dog and rest with Wimbledon.

Thanks Lynne. Bit of a delay as no bowel movement yet. Doc will not let me home till that happens. But I am patient.

oh dear, I came home day 3 without a bowel movement but I didn't want to stay just one more night!!

I wasn't given a choice paying privately so hope not charged for an extra day . it would make spending a penny very outdated.

aww .. what a bummer .... they didn't discharge me either before I produced no. 2 ... I guess that is a good thing - They cannot charge you, can they ?  

well, I hope dinner will be alright then .... some bran and roughage will do the trick .. or pineapple -
