The 90 degree no ice cream rule

don't know how many physios/ surgeons apply this rule for the first six weeks following hip op. Apparently tipping an ice cream cone by more than 90 degrees causes discomfort ans danger of dis- ice- cation, so not allowed for 6 weeks, then its relaxed for Vanilla and Strawberry, but not Chocolate, Honeycomb or other exotic flavours. just to let you know.....

You scared me there! i thought you were going to say no icecream for six weeks and i am hoping  for a sunny summer after my op which hopefully is June 29th. Wont get legs tanned tho with having to were those elegant white stockings.

Glad I passed the 6 weeks some time ago, as I much prefer more exotic flavours!

so what happens if you have double scoop vanilla and chocolate?

Sounds like a double scope of icecream is ok for THR in both hips, but only after 6 weeks.
