The definition of anxiety

Those of us suffering through this hell of a thing called anxiety can spell it out better than Wikipedia. It’s a b***h of a mental illness with no cure and can come on without a single reason. The heart pounding, stiff muscles, tremors, shakiness, hyperventilating, chest pain and so much more that we go through is so physically and mentally exhausting that sometimes I think I’m living in a real life hell but it’s only our subconscious mind, so people tell us. It may just be but it’s impossible to turn off mentally and physically. The 2am crying sessions in the shower don’t work, the sleeping pills only last for a short time, the breathing techniques last till you stop them then it all starts again and anxiety medication is a joke. If anyone can tell me the definition to anti anxiety let me know.

I don’t think there is such a thing is there ?

If so I’ve never seen it heard it or felt it..

It’s a horrible horrible lonely feeling that we have

So true sad

Jacquelyn,

I agree with you on everything you said about anxiety and trying to find a way to just get rid of it like it's so easy(so others who don't have it always say) . I'm as frustrated and scared and nervous about everything as the next person but honestly, I have only known of o e person who has been where we are and now has no anxiety attacks or anything whatsoever. They literally just went to sleep one night and when they woke up, it was gone, literally a miracle. I truly don't think that we can get rid of the anxiety all together but it's true that with therapy and medications it can be curved down quite a bit, but I mean you would have to get on the exact correct medication for you and your body, then go to therapy so often that you lose your job. It's hard but it can be done, the painful thing is that you need to stop everything. Working and everything else that stressed you out then ease back into everything with the medicine and therapist. But yeah I agree other than taking drastic measures to change everything,, we are all stuck with anxiety. At least until maybe we find the right help and the right doses. But hey btw I feel your pain and I wanted to let you know that you are not alone. I'm so sorry for all the crazy things that are happening to you and I hope you feel at least some relief soon. Take care.

Yes 😔 I totally agree with you!!! I thank you for this

It's disgusting how psychiatrists pretend to know how to treat anxiety. They always say anxiety comes after depression...we know that is bull crap! Anxiety can come out of nowhere, and the medications are dangerous. Stay away from benzodiazepines! I am on 7.5mgs of mitrazapine at bedtime. It seems to reduce the mental anguish caused by anxiety. I find that Zoloft and Trazadone and Xanax messed me up real bad.
