The future is orange?

Hello,

I know this is a nasty subject but do the tablets turn your poo orange or is it just me?

Two weeks in and I still have constipation and having to take Senakot to help.....anyone else having this problem?

Thanks, Julie

Hi Julie B, I,ve been on the blueys for nearly 3 weeks now and I've found I only go to the loo now every other day instead of every day. Sometimes get a bit constipated too! Don't know know whether its the tabs or the change in diet. Are you following a low fat plan??

Hi slimjan,

Yes I'm folowing a low fat diet...can't understand the constipation cos I have tinned grapfruit with low fat yoghurt or low fat cereal for breakfast a pear or apple mid morning ....I have ryevita ( with seeds in) for lunch with either lean chicken or cottage cheese plus a banana... .then a low fat ready meal or jacket potato with lots of veg or salad plus grapes or apple . I eat all that roughage and still have trouble going!

How are you doing? How much weight do you need to lose?

Thanks for replying,

Julie

when i first started the tablets i was constipated but i find i am back to normal now, i think a few people have had constipation issues to begin with. if got bad i used to take a senakot tablet and it helped.

Hi Julie,

Not been on computer this last week so sorry for the late reply!!

I lost 8lbs on my own then started orlistat. Just finished my 4th week on them and have lost a further 11 lbs, so 19 lbs in all. To get down to an ideal weight, I need to lose another 4 stone but if I can lose 3, that would be fantastic. Feeling quite despondant at the mo. I haven't cheated once on 6 weeks and I'm craving anything and everything that I've missed out on. Just have to keep reminding myself that I have to go through a little pain to see the results.

How are you getting on??

Slimjan

You will find that if you drink about 1 1/2 - 2 litres of water per day constipation will be a thing of the past - could take 12 -24 hours before you notice a change apart from the fact that you will be running to the loo a lot but that's good....gets rid of the toxins etc etc......all the best.
