The hippies creed

Prognosis of a hippie

My hip went south

My knee went down.i was the the crankiest person in town.

The pain i had i laid the blame.

To hospital and surgeons did i see

Into a cup i must pee

Stabbed with needles x rayed and bled

I was test from toes to head

A hip replacement they announced

Oh god i thought Metal. Titanium. Bionic me but from that pain i must be free.

It wont be that bad they said

I woke to blocks drains and weird pains.

My bum it aches

My knee is swollen

All my dignity has been stolen

But out of the fire i glimpse new life

Free of all pain and strife

I will walk

It will take some time

Sometimes a week sometimes nine

Back we go to step one again

Frustration anger ...nothing gained

The sun will shine as i go ahead

I will leave this awful bed

Pour a wine

Have a smile

Youre not the only one walking this mile.

That is very good! You should publish it!
