The Little Things

sometimes it is the little things that you notice that mean so much

yesterday I was able to take two non driving friends on a shopping village. One uses a walker, I managed to get it in the boot . Good to be able to help someone again

Today I had to change quickly before going out. Jeans and shoes changed standing.

great feeling

Hi Maggie

sounds good progress, small steps all count!

As you say it's the little things, like tonight, I have just taken Cleo for a half hour walk with out my stick I do have to watch how I bend still

Well done Maggie, great to hear

Lots of love Carol 😄 Xx

Well done Maggie ....love to hear people doing good

Well done Maggie. I made myself cheese on toast on the grill. I'm lucky to have help but have to insist at times on doing for myself.

Have not worn socks, tights for a year. Autumn will be the time to find out

Yum, cheese on toast with HP sauce I hope !

xx

lots of love to you

Fabulous!! I'm still using a sock aid..........,

great at to be able to help others x

Hi Georgie .... I love my sock aid ... next to the grabber it is my Best Friend - easy slip on and done ... no akward bending - eventhough restriction is lifted it is still challenging for me ...

cheers

mmmmmmmmmm my favourite xx

Maggie you're so right, last night we went to a pub for lovely dinner.  When I needed the loo I walked up a few stairs, without stick and without thinking quite naturally went step over step.  When I got into loo I worried as it was low but I had to use it and it was fine, and I stood up more easily than I did pre-op.  Have also dressed this morning without sitting down- yay!!

Dislike wearing socks and tights so have not really bothered
