Hi all,
Today, I read that Nigel Farage nearly died because of the NHS. He claimed "incompetence and negligence" by NHS doctors almost killed him when he was suffering from testicular cancer. I know from my own experience that I had Testicular Cancer, yet I was being treated by my NHS Doctor for an infection - but I had informed my own doctor that there was Cancer on my side of the family. After 6 weeks of seeing my doctor and being treated for an infection, I said to me it seems I have polyps on my right testicle and if was an infection surely it would have cleared up by now and becoming worse. My doctor gave me a slip of paper to take to A&E for an Ultrasound Scan to be done and checked by a Urologist. This was all on the NHS, not private, because we as paupers in this country on disability benefits.
He then went on to say "The UKIP leader says he is "a fan" of the health service, but advises voters to use private healthcare if they can afford it.". If he is a fan of the NHS service then why did he go private, he has more money than me, I even have to pay the DWP for loan from 10 years ago, and they will not even accept their own letters as evidence! And that is another £18 out of our money per week!! Private Care is something we only look at, not pay for.
I could say the NHS nearly killed me, but would that get me in to the papers, or even Private Care? No, we have to rely on the NHS, and after all of the problems and disorders I have been through over the years and I have been close to death 3 times. Do you see me smoking and drinking down my local pub? No, because I am on too many medications a day, and smoking I gave up, I notice Nigel didn't even with having Cancer.
We have to live like paupers because of gov'ts, not just cutting Benefits, Health and basically everything else - if we want something, we have to fight for ourselves and even then we get knocked back.
My wife and I this week have hit so many brick walls because of laws that we have to abide by, the DWP is EXEMPT from, how are we supposed to win anything.
Every night with Party Political Broadcasts - we switch the TV off! We are sick and disabled, and we just do not want to listen to it - I know many people do the same.
Perhaps if politians actually seen what we have to do, or our carers in many cases they would think twice and make exceptions but that would be asking too much!
Rant over!! I'm having a bad week
Regards,
Les.
