the rosacea treatment that worked for me

I'm a 35 year old man who has been suffering with rosacea for about 2 and a half years.

In the last year the flare ups had been so bad it seriously affected my confidence and I didn't want to go outside some days!

However in the last 2 weeks I have started taking probio 7 probiotics twice a day and the results have been astonishing. Not a single flare up and my skin is slowly but surely looking better and better every day.

I'm so impressed with the results that I wanted to

immediately try and help other people who are maybe going through what I did.

I have also been using dermaquest zinClear spf 30and I 100% recommend this product. I've actually been using this for months and not only is it essential if you have fair sensitive skin like I do but it actually soothes any flare ups.

Lastly, the best advice I read on the subject is "rosacea is a symptom and not a condition."

For me that is completely accarute. Essentially my flare ups were being caused by bacteria in my gut although I definitely found avoiding things like red wine and chocolate helped.

If you're having similar symptoms as myself I definitely recommend taking a probiotic supplement.

Good luck

John

Can you please give me the name of a probiotic supplement as I am  VERY keen to give this a try. Many thanks JL

The one I'm taking is 'Probio 7'.

I purchased it from Holland&Barrett.

About £14 for 40 capsules.

I take one in morning and one in evening with meals.

Thankyou hun, I will deffo give this a go. My rosacea is getting worse so I will give anything a try.

I know exactly how you feel, its a horrible thing to go through!

This is definitely the best thing I've tried to date and the results have been remarkable.

Hopefully this will work for you and others.

Good luck x

Hi.. Am Anne.. Few months back back I had it on my face, cheeks and forehead. I tried various natural remedies like cucumber mask, aloe vera, green tea, etc. But still I couldn’t completely recover from it. Later I came to know about the usage of tea tree oil. I started applying it and it really worked for me. But as I stopped it’s usage, redness started to appear again. Then my cousin suggested me to consult a dermatologist. We met Dr Jain at Fairview laser clinic who explained that it was hereditary for me and hence natural treatments won’t be completely effective. She recommended phototherapy and so I went for it. She also advised me to reduce the intake of caffeine containing foods and foods high in histamines like fermented food, canned fish and  processed meat as these may trigger the redness. After the treatment I completely got my rosacea treated.

Hello, just wondered how you are getting on with the probiotics?   I have been on them a week - don't want to say too much at this early stage but would love an update on how you are doing.
