Hello ladies! This might be a weird question. I was wondering when you first got BV was the smell always fishy or was it something else? And each time it returned was it the same smell?
mine was fishy. but if it gets real bad it has a horrible smell like damnnnnn

yup fishy. there was even a point last year i kind of putting off going to the doctors. i can smell the awful smell even if im just sitting down normal position. its horrible! it puts me off having sex. ewww
Hmmm… Mine came back (I think), but smell is so different, kinda like a mix of yeast/ammonia (this is the closest I can describe) or even better, but funny I remember when my female hamster was in heat, she was producing very similar smell lol and I notice in the morning watery clear discharge. Didn’t have any discharge first time when smell was fishy.

i just tried boric acid vaginal suppositories for 14 days it seems to be working . i’ve suffered on a regular basis for 14 years it sucks i’ve tried everything the doctors don’t know what to do the medicine the prescribe doesn’t work it comes right back.
i used clindamycin vaginal cream for 7 nights been bv free for coming up to 6 months now i had it 4 years

now since I used boric acid I get water discharge only when I sleep next morning I’ve wet pants that smell like wee /urine chemical smell.
but I’d rather have that than the sewers and the fish smell .
I can sit next to people comfortably now cuz I’m fresh until I’m asleep I’m single also

Yup, this is how it is with me when it came back. Clear watery discharge and chemical, ammonia smell. I have gyno appointment next Friday and I don’t know if I should wait until then or try hydrogen peroxide douches for a week.
i tried clindamycin, metrodizonal cream and pills, this powder my doctor prescribed you mix with yogurt,tea tree oil, probiotics, peroxide douches. i went to see a specialist she wanted me to do the metrodizanol for 6 months but that stuff takes the good bacteria out of your bowels and causes problems there to i didn’t know that till i went to get a colonoscopy and my doctor said that medicine was causing all my problems.
the medicine? i dont take medicine at all i still have it
to me the peroxide made mine worse but everyone is different i just keep using my boric acid pills it works for me.

Ok ladies, I don’t know if this is just a coincidence or what, but last night I drank 1000mg of vitamin C and before I went to sleep put some tea tree cream outside vagina (was a little sore from me always checking the smell lol) and this morning the smell is sooooo much better. Until I see my G next Friday I will test it out some more.
i was given metronidiazole for 5 months was aweful i finished the course i had to take 5 tablets in one go every month it did nothing nut turn my tongue yellow 
iv been on oral probiotics for 2 years they didnt help and also had 5 days fluconazole and also had 2 lots of nystatin as she said it was yeast iv still got it now unchanged a its been about a year since i took them lol so looks like im stuck with it
hey ericka yes I’m ok I’m coping my immune system is down I think and I put apple cider vinegar in the bath and its completely fxxked my vag up on every level all because of bv so annoying.
I haven’t been taking any boric acid for about 10 days and I certainly can not take boric acid now with my vag the way it is.
