The strangest dreams ever

Hello Everyone,

I have been on Flu for the past 3 weeks, just entered my 4th week. Although the last few days have been very hard and I have had to take time off, I have hope after reading your experiences and most of you say that it takes at least 4 weeks for Flu to work. So, I'm hanging on!

However, I have to share with you the strangest dream I have -probably- ever had: I felt like I was waking up one night a few nights ago, and could see there were 2 people in my bedroom. One was a guy, all dressed in black in front of my wardrobe messing around with my clothes, the other one was a Chinese girl sitting on my armchair and she kept laughing and shaking her arms. At some point I HAD TO sit on my bed and -I was completely relaxed- but I was thinking about what to do. I thought of 2 options: 1- switch the light on, but I decided not to because I thought they might attack me, option 2: go and wake my friend up, but I decided not to as the two people might get upset. I then decided to go back to sleep, I tried, but then I thought: 'I can't sleep with two strangers in my bedroom' I kept looking at them, and the more I looked, the more I was convinced they were in my bedroom! I tossed and turned in my bed, until I decided that they were the effect of a shadow and went to sleep. It was a very strange experience as I could see them but not 'sense' them. In addition I have had a few more vivid dreams, but I don't mind if this effect goes on for a long time.

Anyone else having these dreams?

What a wierd dream - I haven't had that one but have been having the oddest dreams this last few weeks. I'm on my 7th Week taking Flu having been on if for 18 months 3 years ago. Dreams and night terrors were a big part of the whole senario for me back then too. You'll get through the dream stage - sleep is always the last thing to return to \"normal\".

i have been on fluoxetine for nearly 3 weeks now and have experienced the oddest and most vivid dreams! They feel really realistic and i will have several different dreams in one. Last night i was dreaming that groups of old posh ladies wouldn't get out of my bedroom so i had to set them on fire to get them out! im sure it's just a normal side effect. i don't mind, they're quite entertaining!

Zo and Athena...

I had the most vivid dreams too...in fact they were so realistic that I got frightened to go to bed! Although now I am glad to say that has subsided and I think what has helped is that I now take my Flu tab in the morning.
