The Unforgiven

The Unforgiven

------------------

Wrong I got it wrong

Guts miserified

Hands wringerified

Wrong I got it wrong

Write my sorrow

Tears tomorrow

Wrong I got it wrong

Strike punishment

Pent anger silent

Wrong I got it wrong

Regret ever

Solace never

Wrong I got it wrong

Dear George,....what a beautiful and thoughtful post..

You have a real talent for poetry,..which I absolutely love..

( I have five poems published in anthologies. )..

When people post on here with a problem, it is very real and distressing for them...we have to be very gentle and tactful in our replies to them...

A forum like this would have been a true godsend to me when I had a terrible alcohol problem, I felt so isolated, ( I was sectioned four times. )

Anyway, I wish you well George... Regards, enjoy your day..DEIRDRE.....x

Dear Deirdre,

Thank you. Like you, a forum like this would have been such a blessing and a help when I had ME (before the days of the Web). Now it here to bless and help when I am again in trouble.

Bless you for picking up on my poem and for being so kind about it.

George

Dear Deirdre

i have seen your more recent post and love you for it.

Your friend George

Dear George. Thank you for your lovely reply...

Life must be very difficult and tiring for you suffering from ME..

I suffer from fibromyalgia, ( quite severely. ). They are both, like very, very, very many illnesses unseen and misunderstood !!!

Addiction like many other problems are viewed as self inflicted, therefore sufferers keep quiet about them, and life becomes very lonely and very sadly isolated....

Sincere regards to you....DEIRDRE..take care of yourself and others....

Dear Deirdre

I count myself recovered from ME. I have little stamina and must be careful not to overdo it - the little echoes of that life robbing ailment. My present trouble is prostate cancer and treatment side effects. I wish to encourage all, men and women to be educated about PCa, Many of the 10,000+ men who die of it each year in the UK would be cured if they and their partners had been aware.

Your friend George

The Forgiven

---------------

I got it wrong. I forgiven am.

Joy upon joy

Joy upon joy

I got it wrong. I forgiven am.

Happy I

Happy I

I got it wrong. I forgiven am.

Bless you

Bless you

I forgiven am.

I love this second verse, it did feel somewhat unfinished and needed a happy conclusion! razz

Thank you. Or a pair as the structures are only similar. Glad you liked them.
