There is hope

So I started having symptoms of frozen shoulder in my right shoulder in November of 2017. I didn't have any idea what it was and suspected a torn rotator cuff. I went to a specialist in January and he told me what it was and said i could try PT but that my best answer was probably to just wait it out. Probably 2 years. Oh, and in December my left shoulder started freezing as well. So both shoulders freezing at the same time and just wait two years.

At my worst I could barely get dressed and wash and comb my hair. The pain was horrible if I bumped them wrong and I had zero good options for sleep.

Fast forward to today and my right shoulder is thawing. I can again reach about 4" up from the small of my back. My left is still pretty frozen but no pain. The only thing I did was a couple of PT treatments and about 4 rounds of massage.

So hang in there, it will get better. I am confident I will be mostly recovered by Christmas.

Thank you Brent28997

It’s nice to have positive vibes here!!

Unreal that it happened to both of your shoulders !!

Keep positive

It is nice to get some good news and I am very pleased for you. You obviously don't live in Northern Ireland!

My frozen shoulder was over and done with three years ago, though it has left me in a lot of pain and poor mobility. I was put on a waiting list to see a Consultant about it. The waiting list was one year. That was 2 1/2 years ago!

My hope is fading fast.

Happy for you Brent. I have two frozen shoulders, and the second one started freezing in December 2017, and is STILL in the freezing/pain stage. But I'm happy for you.

I guess I'm just one of the unlucky ones in our little club that has to deal with a very protracted illness with this.

Congrats, and I hope the disease stays away for good for you.

Have you tried Glucosamine HCI  1500 mg  MSM 1500  mg vitamins?  You may find that they help.  They did for me, anyway!
