Ive recently been sexually active with my boyfriend. we used condoms to stay safe until i realized they were messing with my vagina.
Since then it hasnt been the same and more and more problems keep coming up.
At first i started having itchiness and irritation along with pain during intercourse (the condoms has spermicide which is most likely what started messing with me.)
we stopped using those but the problems stayed.
(Im guessing its a yeast infection or some sort of infection caused by it.
This all happened about 2 months ago and its still affecting me now as im unaware of what to do or what this really is.
just recently (a few days ago) i have been having pink discharge with a metal like smell to it even though im not near the beginning or end of my period.
along with all of these things going on ive also been developing some smegma type of thing around the outside of my vagina despite showering just a few minuted to a few hours ago. this also began after the condoms we first used and havent stopped since.
yet another thing i noticed is i have a weird semi hard bump in the entrance of my vagina along with bumps and ridges or flaps. i have always had the bump and flap things however i noticed it become more bumpy and larger recently. it doesnt hurt but does feel irritated. i dont know if this or normal or if i should be concerned.
note: i do plan on getting all of this checked out if it doesnt go away however with the whole corona virus thing im hesitant to go at this moment. Im also young , 18, and am honestly a bit too anxious to have to go get this checked but will do it if this is serious. i deal with severe anxiety and going to a doctor and letting them know about private sexual problems is a huge fear.
none of this has ever happened before. ive had sex before with no problems and havent been with anyone in over a year. my boyfriend who im intimate with now was a virgin prior to being with me so i know i dont have/didnt catch anything from him.
im so sorry this post is super long but im really freaking out and want reassurance or to atleast know what this is. thank you so much
