Thick white skin on inside of lip

started about 3 months ago i felt a thick bit of skin on inside of lip peeled it of and went about my day! a month later it returned again peeled it off! then it comes back for the 3rd time and im stating to worry! it heals completely each time! my doctor give me cream for a coldsore but i really dont think it is one its on the inside! one doctor said he thought it was papilloma! im stressed it might be oral cancer! any advice would he great!

it really looks like a canker sore. have you been biting it? i would get tested for oral herpes just to be safe. If thats not the case see a dentist to rule out other mouth problems.
