I noticed this thin black line on my nail a week ago and it has not gone away. Its tiny no more than 2mm but I have seen that a black line on a nail can be a symptom of melanoma although this looks nothing like nail melanoma pictures I have seen more like a splinter hemorrhage . I dont recall any trauma to the nail however I am an anxious person who bites my nails a lot. I also had a suspicious looking mole removed in April and can be a bit of a worrier when it comes to health. Any idea? thanks.
