I have been having unprotected sex with my baby father for 10 months just had an baby 3months ago nothing come up I started talking to someone else for 5 months while I was pregnant so the last 3 months of my pregnancy I was having unprotected sex with someone a month ago I just had an out break i went to the doctor they told me I have herpes type 2 my partner have herpes type 1 but he got tested & it came out negative but a today he got a bump that looks like herpes so who gave who herpes?
I would say your new partner ?? It takes a while for the antibodies to show up in a blood test(they usually say atleast 3 months ) so it could be that it was a new infection he had contracted then gave it to you . But did you have sex with him around the time you got the outbreak because usually you’ll have an outbreak 2-10 days ( from what I’ve read ) after exposure . If not then , that seems a bit confusing . Did you have a blood test or swab ?
Yes I had both the blood test & swab & he just went to the doctor & the doctor say it looks like a from of herpes he was prescribed medicine & he still waiting on his results.
