hi ladies, phoned my doctors today and they checked my discharge papers , the receptionist told me the only name she could see was a Dr Lubna Haque , anyone heard of this lady , it was a lady who did my anterior repair and her name sounds familiar ,been bugging me since i got my op as i wasnt sure who preformed the surgery xx
Were you just curious helen or was there another reason you need her name?
Just curious matron but also wanted to know incase there are problems with my repair xx
You have every right to know who performed your surgery.
have you heard of her matron x
Helen my consultant (Dr Eileen Reilly) spoke to me when I was having pre op , and actually came and walked me down to theatre, she also appeared in ward to see me just as I was coming round , to tell me how it went, got as far as telling me she did both anterior and posterior, when someone interupted her and she gad to go! I had hoped to ask about extent of repairs and how long till recovery expected . But did get usual leaflets. Physio came to see me too , same advise as last time and in agreement with leaflets. I was very well looked after and have only praise for the staff, at Glasgow royal infirmary, only complaint to was the night staff forgot to record that I had reached my nessesary quota of urine while on catheter and had to drink another 2/3 jugs if water in morning, kept them on there toes. Sometimes they can be run off their feet and barely get time to do the little extras that make a difference.
Phyl xx
No I haven't helen
I've absolutely no complaints about my operation , the staff at Perth royal infirmary were fantastic, went out their way to help us patients , my surgeon also came to speak to me before operation and as I woke up she came back to see me, she did explain what they did but I can't remember as I was just coming round at that point , I just didn't know her name lol but no complaints xx
Good to know that on the whole this country provides an excellent service even though it's NHS is struggling .☺☺☺
